KYLE, S.D. – Oglala Lakota College (OLC) will host its 15th Annual Summer Artist Series, “A Vision of Our History by Lakota Artists” which will feature 12 Lakota artists throughout the summer.

Artists are scheduled to be available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm at OLC’s Historical Center located on the Piya Wiconi Administrative Campus of Oglala Lakota College, six miles southwest of Kyle, South Dakota. The series will run from June 11-August 31, 2018 and will begin with Paulette Iron Crow, who will be displaying her beautiful beadwork and offering demonstrations.

The summer artist series promotes public awareness of the arts of the Oglala Lakota people of the Pine Ridge Reservation and the surrounding area and educates our own people and the people of other cultures and places to the richness and the importance of the arts to the Lakota culture, traditions and history.
